Monica Hom
Women’s Ministry Leader
Monica was born and raised in Tijuana, the youngest of six children. She grew up without much, but her mother taught her the value of honoring God and people. She had her first vision at eight and encountered the Holy Spirit at fourteen because of her youth group and children’s choir. She was married and had two beautiful children, but later divorced. After her divorce, she continued pursuing God by serving him as a lecturer and Eucharistic minister. Then, God blessed her to become a physical trainer and teacher for the YMCA, and she could minister to her students and pray for them after class. Monica started attending the Rock in 2015 and assisting in the Women’s group. During that time, she met her new husband, Gary, and remarried. God called her to lead the Women’s Ministry at Rock Church, City Heights, in 2020. God has made Monica a bridge to reflect His love and connect women in the community and for His Kingdom on Earth.
