KRISTA PETTIFORD is a follower of Jesus, a mom to four young adults, a woman of prayer, a prophetic voice, and a preacher of the gospel. Krista is also an award-winning author and speaker. She was the women’s ministry leader and a prayer leader at her local church, where she served for over 22 years.
Krista is the founder of Called Conference, a conference that calls God’s daughters to understand the heart of the Father and His purpose for them. She is also the founder of Krista Pettiford Ministries Inc., which exists to partner with other organizations to uplift women and girls in crisis and transition by sowing beautiful Bibles into their lives so they can cultivate a deeper relationship with Christ.
Krista holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Southern California Seminary and a degree in Information Technology. By day she is an IT Manager for a Native American Tribal Government in the Southern California area where she lives.
Krista has a heart for women going through hard, unexpected seasons that make them question their worth, identity, and purpose because she’s experienced those same things. After experiencing broken dreams and hard things, many women think the best part of their lives is over, and they are disqualified from God’s best.
Krista’s desire is to lead women into the life-changing knowledge of God’s love, acceptance, and beauty that changes the way we see ourselves and show up in the world. Krista is dedicated to calling women into a deeper relationship with God, helping them become the women He called them to be so they can triumph through the changing season of life and walk in their callings effectively.
Krista believes that truth and transparency transform lives. She writes and ministers with a solid Biblical message and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
